Study Programme Details

The programme spans 18 months with flexible scheduling. Most students dedicate 8-12 hours per week, though you can adjust the pace to match your circumstances. The autumn 2025 intake begins in September, with applications opening in June.

Core modules cover pension planning, investment principles, tax efficiency, and estate planning. Each module includes video content, reading materials, and practical exercises based on current UK regulations.

We use continuous assessment rather than high-pressure exams. You'll complete case study analyses, create financial plans for fictional clients, and participate in peer discussions.

Progress tracking shows your completion rate, time spent on each topic, and areas where you might benefit from additional review. The system adapts to your learning pattern over time.

All materials work on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Video content includes transcripts and can be played at different speeds. PDF resources are screen reader compatible.

Internet connection is required for video content and progress syncing, but most reading materials can be downloaded for offline study during commutes or travel.

Each cohort has a dedicated discussion forum where you can ask questions, share insights, and connect with fellow learners. Response time for instructor queries is typically 24-48 hours during weekdays.

Monthly group video calls provide opportunities to clarify complex topics and hear different perspectives on financial planning challenges. Attendance is optional but highly recommended.

Freya Thornfield

Senior Curriculum Designer

After spending twelve years in financial advisory roles across London and Manchester, I've seen firsthand what separates confident planners from those who struggle with client conversations.

The materials I've developed focus on practical application rather than theoretical perfection. You'll work through scenarios that mirror real client situations, building confidence alongside knowledge.

My background includes ISA optimization strategies, pension transfer analysis, and helping families navigate inheritance tax planning. These experiences directly inform the case studies and examples throughout the programme.
