Our Financial Journey
Seven years of helping people understand money management through real experiences, practical guidance, and genuine commitment to financial education.
The Beginning
Started in a small Newcastle office after seeing too many friends struggle with basic financial decisions. Our founder, having worked in traditional banking, noticed the gap between complex financial products and what people actually needed to know. We began with weekend workshops for fifteen people at a local community center.
Adapting Through Challenge
The pandemic forced us online, which initially felt like a setback. Turns out, remote learning opened doors we didn't know existed. People from across the UK could join our sessions. We learned that financial anxiety doesn't respect geographical boundaries, and neither should financial education.
Growing Understanding
Moved to our current Jesmond location and expanded our approach. We realized that financial planning isn't just about numbers on spreadsheets. It's about helping people sleep better at night, make confident decisions, and understand their relationship with money. Started offering longer-term mentorship programs.

Where We Are Now
Today, we focus on practical financial education that actually makes sense. No complex jargon, no unrealistic promises. Just clear guidance on budgeting, saving, and making informed financial decisions. We're preparing new programs for late 2025 that combine online learning with in-person support.
What Guides Us
The principles that shape every conversation, every lesson, and every piece of advice we share.
Honest Conversations
We talk about money the way real people do. No corporate speak, no unrealistic scenarios. Just straight talk about budgets, debt, and financial goals that actually fit your life.
Practical Focus
Everything we teach has to work in the real world. Theory is fine, but we're more interested in helping you make decisions next week than impressing you with complex strategies.

Long-term Thinking
Quick fixes rarely work with money. We help people build habits and understanding that serve them for decades, not just until the next financial emergency.

Meet Our Team
Our approach comes from real experience, not textbooks. Dartanian Crosswell, our lead educator, spent eight years in high-street banking before realizing that most financial advice doesn't connect with how people actually live their lives.
We're not financial advisors in the traditional sense. We don't sell products or manage investments. Instead, we focus on education and guidance that helps people make their own informed decisions about money.

Looking Ahead
Financial education is changing, and so are we. Our goal isn't to become the biggest training provider, but to remain the most helpful one.
Accessible Learning
Making financial education available to more people through flexible online courses launching autumn 2025.
Real-World Focus
Continuing to base our teaching on actual financial challenges people face, not theoretical scenarios.
Community Building
Creating spaces where people can discuss money openly and learn from each other's experiences.
